Has anyone noticed tickets missing? I have had tickets disapear. Am I the only one? And for that matter I thought the price for these tickets, and everything else for that matter, was sapose to go down as your fame went up. And What ever happened to the deal you were sapose to be able to make with the Karavan and Kami that would give you a once per deal no DP death?
Sorry if this is picky but, the mount thing got me going.

They went UP not down. Maybe you need your Karavan/Kami Fame at 100? I dont know since I do not have it that high yet.jackmor wrote: And for that matter I thought the price for these tickets, and everything else for that matter, was sapose to go down as your fame went up.

I will let you in on a little secret... I am doing this for my newborn daughter... no one else... I like that game, but I do not have the time anymore. My first priority is to my daughter. End of story.

Ok. I found it . I knew I read it somwhere. Its in the hand book that comes with the game. Pg.43 under the heading Death, subheading Penalties, 3rd paragraph, It states
"A pact is an agreement you have with a particular Kami or Karavan. Primarily, these pacts are a function to assist the Kami or Karavan in transporting you and they allow you a singale resurrection without penalty, at the location where you made the pact. Additionally, any character with a pact may call in the favor at any time, providing them with free trasport to the pact location. Either of these uses will complete the pact and you will need to make a new one afterwords."
I bought this game the first day it came out and have never been able to get this to work. I eventualy gave up. But now I want what we paid for. The game we bought.

I read that the teleporter pact was supposed to make it no DP in the manual, first time i tried it and still got a DP i just saved the pact tickets for when i needed to get somewhere fast.
But it does clearly state that in the online manual that you can download from the main site.
Re: Port Tickets and no DP death deal?
No you are not alone. I and several of my guild mates have had their tickets go missing. This is a known bug which like many others has been ignored in favour of other 'cosmetic' items in the game.jackmor wrote:Has anyone noticed tickets missing? I have had tickets disapear. Am I the only one?
Re: Port Tickets and no DP death deal?
if you are talking about goint to say Kami and buying a ticket??
if no ticket appears
you need to go to nearest merchant and reset your mon filter that will allow u to buy the ticket
happened to me friday a Gm and I figured out what happened

Re: Port Tickets and no DP death deal?
I've had lots and lots of tickets fly away. May have to do with the number of tickets I carry, 2 for most tps and 3 for the important ones.

At least I know Im not imagining this. Now you got me thinking. The tickets that I keep loseing are the ones I go to most when I die. Maby there getting taken because of the dp pact. Even though it doesn't work for dp maby its still trying to take the tickets.madnak wrote:I've had lots and lots of tickets fly away. Kind of make you wonder doesn't it.

Re: Port Tickets and no DP death deal?
Thanks for bringing this up Jackmor.... it's a subtle but important point that they intended for us to have the ability to buy our way out of DP. Why then, for example, make TP tickets useable after death? Simply allow only respawn, then we can always use TP after we're walking around again.
Let's examine the isse further. What might be the explanation to the mystery of missing features like this one?
1. Maybe they've had a hard time figuring out how to code this feature?
How hard is the logic?
If [NoTicket]
DP=DP+[DpADD]
Else If[Ticket]
DP=DP
Isn't this essentially what's promised in the manual. Yes I know the manual comes with the usual 'evolving gameplay' disclaimer, but is that really the issue/point here?
2. Perhaps they thought it would spoil the game somehow?
So implement this feature in a slightly different way, say ask us for additional dappers to cover the cost of DP or no rez.
3. Perhaps tatoos and haircuts are more important?
This line of reasoning has a lot of merit.
or 4. maybe it just slipped their minds?
another mystery with no apparent solution... call to devs, "hey what's going on with this feature/issue?" response, " [sound of crickets chirping]"
I can understand storyline mystery and mysteries and secrets being kept about certain aspects of gameplay, but other mysteries like this one make no sense to me. They make the development team seem irresponsible at best and disingenuous at worst.
