Theory killed by TP move. It seemed logical. It didn't show til we broke Thesos during the invasion. We haven't broke the kami tolerance anywhere else and thus don't have any other domes.

Damn it...theory broken by TP move :D

maybe the Dome on top of the mats ... was the main reason for it moving ... so you can harvest fibre again :D

true. the other fiber spot was a little too close to the ocyx, it meant people power lvling had to mind the harvester ;)

I don't think so. There are other fibre spots in Thesos and in Dyron. That's the source that the Kamis went mad over so made sense for the dome to be there.

Now the reason for the Domes seems a bit confusing.

Nice work doin those screenies, gotta hurt :)

If people dig an area too much ... they with get blasted. (Love fluffy Kami! NOT)

To avoid the problem ... dig somewhere else. It seems that alot of the 'High level' hunters have switch to the ways of the Harvester. Which is why we are see this much more than before.

...
Too much digging .... =/ It´s more likely that tolerance decreases cuz ppl nuke the sources or let em die

It´s not the amount off ppl digging 1 spot - think it´s the fact that 20 ppl have more explosions than 5 would have.

Test it, go for a spot with high tolerance with 2-3 ppl and nuke each single source (or just let it die with digging aggro-style or do both) - after some sources you will see it´s not the amount of players causing the tolerance-decrease. it´s the way harvester treat the nature.

Near Min-Cho are many harver doing their job atm and tolerance is decreasing only with the presence of some special harvester who missed their appointment and should have become a shot firer.

I'd agree with you. There are foragers at the north end of the lake in Dyron all the time. Usually 4-5 at a time for hours on end. BUt its careless digging that causes problems, not how many. The tolerance is bound to go down some with constant digging, but if we're careful and careplan our digs, we can care for the planet as well as ourselves.

Indeed, I agree with Kos and Syrinx here - killing or exploding sources seems to be the main cause of low Kami Tolerance. I use Gentle extractions with specialisations - this is mainly to keep myself alive (and only need 2, or 3 max. care plans per dig), but also to keep the tolerance high when possible. I have a mix of stanzas in my main action - Gentle Speed, Aggressive Rate, Gentle Quality. I *never* let a source life expire on me, and I *never* allow explosions or gas unless I'm not taking enough notice (very rare since I'm packing all focus boost and no HP boost when digging, i.e. explosion = death :) )

Come one people, stop pulling your max QL with aggressive, get some gentle stanzas in there, and start receiving some Kami love :D

One other argument for gentle, which would fit with the above comments.

I have never prematurely exhausted an area using all gentle stanzas, even when I goof and get a premature source destruction. Not once in 200ish levels of harvesting.

Happens all the time when I use even one aggro stanza.

So...you takes your money and your chances, but ya, gentle helps.
