A new portal opens...

Tonight, a new portal between Fyros and Zora was opened. This was the culmination of a mighty battle between the Homins and a force of Kitin both in the lands of Fyros and Zora.

On the Fyros side, the huge gaggle of Homins was wiped out a couple of times, but eventually a team from Rulers of Atys aided very well by some members of the Army of Atys found and fixed the Kitin Commander and gave time for the main Homin force to gather and bring it down.

With impeccable timing, we reached the Fyros side of the new portal just as our valiant Zorai cousins were coming through after defeating the Kitin menace in their own homelands, and there was a fine meeting of comrades from all races to celebrate the dual victory of our defeat of the Kitins and the opening of a new trade route between Fyros and Zora.

Once again the Homins have demonstrated their ability to put their differences aside and come together to defeat the common foe...

A few tiny facts (unless I am mistaken ).

First route to be opened between two lands.
You can now go to/from Zorai without haveing to go through the prime roots.
The great outback in Zorai is desert terrain.

I agree to that!

I have seen lots of guilds and lots of people without guild coming to fight the kitins. One team was not enough for the thing we did!

<IC> Ha! A victory won by all homins, claimed by some homins! When the final blows were being struck I saw homins from every race and many guilds, each laying a claim on the future of Atys by finishing a mutual menace. Though some guilds held him there, and do not think that hominkind is not grateful for the role they played in the great victory, though they held him I do not think that the day should be remembered for one particular act of heroism among many. In particular I think notice should be drawn to the unsung heroes. Those who went back for a downed companion or sacrificed themselves to save their team. I witnessed a small group in Dyron defend the town against a huge mob of Kitins that swarmed into the civilians while the main bulk of our fighters were harrying the enemy to the entrance of the new passage between the continents. Many small victories such as this are what made the great possible. Rejoice Homins, and pray this is the beginning of the end of such hostilities.

<OOC> Good job! Though a lot of people didn't really seem to know where to go or couldn't get there this event was cool and I'm glad I managed to witness and take part in small sections of it.

Nobody -found- the commander.. The event guide brought us (more than your 2 guilds) to the commander..
Btw.. Army of Atys isn't even important here as they almost have no people over lvl 100..
