i think i am using the QNet version 0.50 .rpm. I have no idea how to use QNet other than the basic commands like ".tell <user> <message>"
I'm not sure what I did wrong with qnet install, but the list of users doesn't show up in the right hand area similar to where IRC users would show up. if i do a ".who" it will list all the users, and put them into that column on the right, but then every chat message goes into that column...heh. i just avoid trying to figure out who's in the channel altogether :0).
QNet is just obscure enough that any real info or help on it is long absent, lol.

$ telnet chat.ryzom.com 6002
just works although it has a rather basic user interface![]()

looks like a borderless Eterm, or aterm? i've never messed with aterm so don't really know all that it can do...
my screenshot is using wterm...transparency is satisfying enough for me to avoid using Eterm :0)
does anyone still use....xterm...? rofl!
