You can't have a poll on an expliot.

The CM/GM will determine if this is a game exploit as defined by the EULA, if it is and people are abusing the system, the EULA says it all.

There is nothing more to say on this IMO, either its an exploit, punishable by EULA agreement, or its not an exploit.

I've been posting on the loose 4 million dappers thread about this and came to the conclusion that.
A. Its not realy the players fault.
b. Players wouldn't do this if they had a reasonable storage system.
C. Its the devs fault. For reason b.
and
D. Its not the only thing that needs fixing.

Im not fed up with the game just frustrated. And Im not alone.

I will say that I feel that packers, apartments and guild houses need a SERIOUS tune up on number of slots and weight that they can handle, once that is done, there should be a warning system that gm's can see, when a player GROSSLY overprices an item, to use it as a pay to store device...the gm's should see that and have a "flush materials" button. Trouble with allowing this is that some players, in the blerry eyed hours of the morning have accidentally bought them at those prices, and lost a fortune.

Imagine buying an item that is only worth a k or two, for 100 times that. You would be a little bit mad now...wouldn't you?

Here is a bright idea I have heard stories of people messing with the toons that are foraging and use the vendors as storage. Basically just walk up to there popped nodes and just hit dig once on all the ones they are not digging on and they are not able to dig off them. If nevrax does not want to make a punishment for doing this maybe the people that dont approve of that method could start doing this to the foragers that use the vendors as a storage space just a thought though.

Yes, I would, but I would only be mad at myself for being so mind-numbingly stupid as to not use a built-in price filter. Or baring that...for not exerting the painful amount of effort it takes to look at the number displayed on the screen.

There is no problem here. I don't know why we are trying to make one.

No problem huh? What is the purpose of a vendor? To sell things. If you are using the vendor to store things, then there is a problem.

I'm all for letting people store stuff at the vendors. But just like in real life where you have to pay for storage, you should in game too. I really do think a good solution is charge a 50% tax on all items taken back by the player. If people are so determined to put stuff there, then they should have no problem paying.

And as for someone being "mind-numbingly stupid" for not using a filter. I thing the correct thing to say is that the people using vendors for storage are lazy. Why should I have to filter stuff out just becuase your too lazy to bring packers around with you?

Devs said it's not a bug or exploit... confirmed by takashi in Klient.
In response to the ignorant players out there:

I have more heart than anyone would know :) I will let you in on a little secret... I am doing this for my newborn daughter... no one else... I like that game, but I do not have the time anymore. My first priority is to my daughter. End of story.

I asked a GM today in klients.

The official answer I got was "they say it's not a bug nor exploit"

Feel free to use NPCs as storage. I am going to

A.

Then I have to say that is without a doubt the poorist solution to a storage problem I have ever seen. What a great idea, instead of developing something that would be user friendly, lets just have everyone throw their stuff in the vendor system.
