Try getting choice resin in thesos see how easy that is =)

I admit there a fair few sources around thethesos kami but none of those mats are any good to me apart from the choice fiber and at prescent thats being protected by the kami.

Even with a carer I get maybe 14-15 mats per minute. This still doesnt take me anywhere near to 400 mat in 15 min.

And I know for sure he harvests without a carer as well. We spend many hours in Loria together.

LOL. Come to Loria and harvest where even the grinding spots are close to agro mobs. Here you stand eye to eye the foe all the time. If you have 15 min uninterupted harvesting you can deem yourself lucky.

Don't even want to try to get to any other mat spots then those few because its a DP feast getting there at best times.

Well I regularly hunt Igara in Fourways, which has loads of Rendor. I've NEVER been attacked by one, unless I attacked another Rendor nearby.

I've never seen any mob defend across species in Fyros, only Zorai.

Please correct me where I go wrong ....

Prospect 6xspots I estimate when when using a ql170 that the spots remain active (visible and dig able for about 1.5 mins)

I can dig 2 spots for full mats (using agg rate 5 agg speed 5 agg ql170 + terrain spec rate increase) for 18.5 mats (19 at a push). + I can ususal get an extra spot for 50% source time (10 mats)

so for 2 mins = 48 mats.

2 prospects with out moving = 4.5 mins = 96 mats

move to next spot. +.5 min

repeat above +4.5 mins + 96 mats

move to old spot or new spot +.5 min

repeat above +4.5 mins + 96 mats

So 16.5 mins = 288 mats

ok ... so lets say 35 mins = 400 mats to allow time for chatting moving around etc.

This is of couse a rough estimate of the time based on how long the spots last..... I spend 90% of my time chatting to others or with the care to worry about how long the spot remain active (also real life time seems to pass very quickly when in the Ryzom world)

As Een (BorgUK) says ... I don't dig without a carer, unless there isn't one online. I am happy with 1-1.2k a min XP while digging and helping my carer get 1.5xp is their reward for helping.

Plus two bags are better than one, for time effectiveness.

I am full in about 15 mins or less?
Lemme see, I am lvl121, have some care plans, use no sourcetime and dig lvl130 solo. I get 9 mats all the time per min, that would take me about 45 mins to fill my bag, have some clothing on, you know! I do get 2 lvls this way, extra sourcetime I dont use anymore. The ratio xp vs. time is better without extra time. If I use time, about 30 mins and 1.5 lvl.

I dont like team digging, it is the soloing I like best :-) If I want to team, I can go hunting...
