Max. skills/abilites

Post by vajikf »

As far as I know is possible to max all skills (to 250).

But I don't know if you are able to have every ability/plan/spell even if you reach 250 in everything.

Is there someone who know answer or who have at least some theory?

AFAIK:

You can have all skills/plans in Fight, Magic and Harvesting when you maxed all subtrees.

Not sure if you can get all 4 races plans when you are maxed out on crafting but you can get all plans on one race for sure.

Its not affected by your start spec?

For example your starting spec is magic/magic/magic. Are you still able to max fight and harvesting?

it is not affected by your starting choice at all. the starting choice is only to give your character a start in the skills you think you may want to use

for example is you choose 3x magic it costs you 50sp to buy the intro craft skill, although you probably got 50sp worth of magic abilities anyway. It all balances itself out in the end, even if you maxed you magic I'm guessing you will have 50sp left at the end to cover what you did not take.

And what about stat abilites (constution 1, constution 2), hp self heals etc. They are upgradable by all paths. I think there could be template which will not allow you max all abilites/spells in some path.

Example of bad template?:
Starting spec: magic/fight/fight
Basic Harvesting: upgraded by magic path (20)
Race base armor crafting: upgraded by magic path (50 sp)
Constitution 1-x upgraded by ONLY magic path (xx sp)
Self Heal 1-x: upgraded by ONLY magic path (xx sp)
etc.

And on the end - you are not able to have all magic spells.

constitution and self heal is done by fight path, you dont need any prequisites to fight. no sp to cover this just money

anyway there is only about 6 base spells in offensive and 6 in affliction so you really dont need to worry about having everything. in fact you will prbably have more SP than you know what to do with at lvl250 coz theres nothing useful to spend it on, (I currently have about 120sp that I can't find anything worthwhile wasting them on)

Magic splits into 4 at level 51, and after that upgrades are every 15 level and cost 7 points each (AFAIR). For a healer that is 150 points gained and 21 spend, so a lot of free points for the rest of the spells and skills.

For crafting, 250 level brings in 2500 points (one branch). Craft skill cost 25 for every 10th level. 25 points * (250 levels / 10) * 4 races = 2500 points spend.
So completing on complete branch will give full craft for all races. Not counting crafting plans of course, but a subtree or two should cover that without problems.

Harvesting, one branch plus part of a subtree will cover all.

Fighter, not sure, but as far as I can see there are enough subtrees to cover all skill purchases too.

Yes you can get all 4 race plans for all items. Prior to the last crafting tree change there was 65k sp available in the crafting trees. They have since add a new tree (amp) and reduced the sp cost of many items!

I think you will have skill point left over, even it you used crafting points to buy HP and Focus and the self heals etc .....

There are (50+200x60) x10 = 12500 sp in the Jewellery tree ....

25x25=625 for crafting skills
5x40=200 for plans (earing free)

Total 825 ... leaving 11675 to spend on boosts.

for all the boost you would need 4x40x25=4000sp

so for all jewels @ lvl 250 with HP, SAP, STAM & FOCUS boosts

total cost = 4825 sp :D
free sp = 7675 sp

other race jewels = 3x900 (50sp starter pack)

leaving you after you have bought everything in jewellery related....

4975 sps to spend on something else .....

Slight math correction. Each new set of race jewels will run you 875 points to get their crafting up to 250 (armor 1 is the only level 1 pack requiring 50 sps, everything else is 25). However, it costs 200 points to buy the 5 different types of jewelry plans per race. So 4400 'free' sps. This assumes you grind earrings 250 levels, which is another matter entirely...

ty for the correction :D

but I think the point is clear that there are way more SPs than Plans......

A young crafter is always right on the edge of what they need plan wise and the sps they have .... later you spend much time wondering what to do with the spare 1000sp you have.
