Steady on guys......

I Haunt these forums all day while im at work to get my ryzom fix and they are the most quiet game forums i have ever witnessed.....getting 10 posts a day........if that

Lets try and liven things up a bit, and i dont mean any more 'i quit' posts, im fed up of those.

We have a great community here but it seems a very quiet one also...

Would love to spend my days at work reading interesting, funny posts which i know we are all capable of.

"The New invasion" thread has had 17 posts since yesterday and was started at 4PM GMT.

"Cancelled patch" has had 7, also started at 4PM.

"Old Timer" has had 16 - started at 5PM.

Just off the top of my head thats 40 posts in less than 24 hours and that's just on THIS forum.

You're right, these forums are quiet.

I personally believe the main reason for this is that most people who actively play are doing just that - playing. In my experience there is only something like 10% of the players of any MMOG who post regularly on the forums, and let's face it, Ryzom doesn't have as many players as a lot of games, so it stands to reason that 10% of a small player base is going to mean very few regular posters.

The vast majority of my posts are made at work. When I get home I'm in-game and having fun.

One of the nice things about these forums is the fact we don't have to contend with ex players and people who have never played bashing the game out of some twisted sense of spite or simply because Ryzom isn't their game of choice. You only have to look at the mmorpg.com forums for example to see plenty of that - "EQ2 sucks because... because.... because it isn't WoW" etc etc
