Glad to see something is changing

In refernece to
http://www.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10303 by cerest - i'm glad to see someone is looking at the quality of the code BEFORE the patch goes live.

Now, if Nevrax would actually start advertizing the game, perhaps more players would join in...

Everytime I see the mention of re-write on missions and rites, I go out and buy more medicated pads and asprin.

:)

But seriously, I am glad there taking a deep look into it for atleast a week, I would rather wait a week then get something broken.
For those who know about today, I have a supprise for you tomorrow.

You can barely go to a webcomic, MMO or computer games webpage without running into a Ryzom ad. Have you been in a cave?

But most people are so desensitzed to that now they dont see the ad staring them in the face. The only reason I am here is I played the beta last year and wanted to see what changed.

You can also thank other MMOs (WOW and EQ2) that are shadowing games like Ryzom. Even the gamestore I go to alot doesnt really talk or try to sale Rysom. But they do try to sell WOW or EQ2. Give it a few months for things to calm down and the bugs to show then more people will start coming here more.

Plus we can help as well by telling people about Ryzom. If each of us get just 2 people interested there would be a population boom. Just dont go to other MMO sites and advertise. I am sure WOW and EQ2 would have alot more players if it wasnt for the Llamas and script-kiddies going to other MMO's forums and saying how everyone sucks there cause they dont play WOW or EQ2.

Yeah, seriously. I went to EB yesterday and saw only 1 box of SOR on the shelves. EQ2 received 2 shelves, WoW received 3 shelves.

Ryzom needs more adds and more boxes on the shelves.

What good is having them on the shelf if all they do is collect dust.
The trailors need to be played on cable advertisements if you ask me.
AND the advertisements on the back of the box need to be made a reality in the game BEFORE that happens or people will go through what we first went through on its release.

I live in the Netherlands, and I've yet to see a copy of Ryzom on the shelves of the game stores around here. I'm glad you can purchase the game online too.
On the other hand, that was also the deciding factor in my decision to stay with this game rather than try WoW or EQ2. I generally prefer playing a relatively unknown game with a small community over those big hype games that everyone plays.
