Lies! Your the Pegasus Foundation has a high fame level with the Karavan and a much lower one with the Kami. The attack yesterday could do only one thing, gain them more popularity with the Karavan while hurting the Kami more. The attack wasn't any attempt to balance neutrality.
I hope the Kami supporting guilds are paying attention to the actions of the Pegasus Foundation and not simply listening to their words. Their actions clearly show their chosen side, support of the Karavan.
The members of the Pegasus Foundation were following orders given by the Sargent of Davae, that the Sacred Sap had strayed from there encampment and started to weed seeds of deception throughout the Matis lands.
This broke there agreement with our king and we were sent out to kill those who were involved in the breach of the agreement.
Now the Sacred Sap have once again returned to there village after learning there lesson, that none shall disobey King Yrkanis and go against the teachings of Jena without punishment.
If any Kami OR Karavan clan or raider shows up on the Sargents list, they will be taken care of accordingly.
We take those missions in pride, knowing that we are doing justice to Matis Lands under King Yrkanis's rule, and we are also doing as Jena has desired in her teachings and law.
If you wish to remain a citizen of Matis and walk amongst the Yrkanis people in peace, I suggest you learn the laws and take heed to the warnings of the Sargent, that any who fall short of the laws and go against them, shall be punished!

The Fleeting Garden were never "Given" to the Sacred Sap. They invested it, doing the bidding of their Kami masters. I refer you to this passage from our recent history:

"More recently, under the rule of Jinovitch, in 2508, the Kamis were overtly persecuted in Matis lands. However, since the accession to the throne of the more liberal king, Yrkanis, the Kamis are now tolerated."
Under the very order of King Yrkanis, the Kami are to be tolerated. Killing them or thier supporters is not tolerating them.

As Zumwalt says, this position has obviously changed with recent times, otherwise the officials of our lands wouldn't be calling for their removal. Worshippers of the Kami are tolerated in our lands, just not those who apparently do not respect their hosts. Those same officials obviously have their reasons, it's no secret the Kami are up to something, what with those strange domes of light and their attending "Living Tree" homins or whatever, appearing here and there on Atys.
The Sacred Sap have been targeted by the King as nothing more than bandits that are a hinderence in our lands and the King himself has asked that the Matasian people kill the evil Sacred Sap and remove there deception from the Matis lands.
Apparently he has discovered something about them that has not been mentioned as of yet, other than the fact they are trying to stop us from further defending our own lands from the Kitin invasions.
For as long as the Sargents under King Yrkanis's rule requests us to kill Sacred Sap, we shall do so, until such time as the request is removed from our list of enemies that need to be slain.

Granted, this comes from the mouth of the Zorai, and should thus be regarded with some suspicion. Still, the Zorai may be misguided, but they are no fools, and they obviously have reason to believe that not all Matis are devout followers of king Yrkanis. So how can you be so sure these sargents are following their king's orders when they give us missions to kill Sacred Sap members? Have you spoken with king Yrkanis yourself? Perhaps these sargents are acting of their own account. Or even worse, following orders from one of their superiors who disagrees with the king's tolerant policies and is abusing his position to further his own agenda. Before we go out and start another war between the homin races, we'd do well to hear how king Yrkanis himself thinks about these matters.
Interesting in deed, ok, now we need a GM to roleplay the king so we know which way this should flow.

I totally agree. This scenario we have setup is really interesting. It would be really nice if we could have a GM jump in and play the part of someone that could have a effect on our roleplay.
On a side note, I hope everyone reading these posts knows that we are just roleplaying. None of us have any hard feelings for each other, and I'm pretty sure each of us is very happy that the others are playing the roles as they are. Just wish more Kami RP'ers would jump in. Tough standing alone.
Considering our recent emergence, many are wondering what it is that Gladius Jenae represents. Many might have the misconception that we are beating the war drums and calling for the eradication of every Kami worshipper on Atys. That is simply not the case, however if you only hear some of my more vitriolic colleagues that is what you may surmise. We intend to foster the return of the true Matisian law and the devout worship of Jena in our lands first and foremost. Years of apathy has softened and corrupted the faith of the Matisian folk under the guise of tolerance. Let it be known that the Gladius Jenae represents a new home for the bold and noble Matisian warriors whose patience for Kami presence in our lands has grown thin. Unlike other guilds who waver in the face of duty and whose fearful position they call neutrality we have drawn our line in the sand.
Choose this day whom you must serve my friends, a principled alliance that will restore the Matis as the chosen children of Jena or serve a group of low moral fibre content that only seek to empower themselves for the sake of power alone to the glory of neither the Karavan, Matis, or Jena. The Matisian folk have rested too long in ambivalent hesitation, unsure of where their future and destiny lay. Choose carefully whom you serve, for when the righteous path of destiny does unfold, you will wish to be remembered as one who aided in the trumphant restoration and not as one afraid of their very fate. Then winds of change are blowing fiercely now and the sword of Jena, Gladius Jenae, is burning brightly. For those bold Matis or Karavan followers of other races who wish to embrace that change and realize the righteous destiny that is theirs if they could only see it, the Gladius Jenae may very well be your new home.
Our dear king Yrkanis, though we swear utmost fealty, is tolerant where tolerance is inadvisable. Recall that the young prince was saved at the hands of a Zora Kami and aided by the Kami to overthrow King Jinovitch, whose absolute stance on the law of the Karavan no one can question. Yrkanis, may he see the light, has been subtly influenced by Kamist leanings and calls it tolerance. Gladius Jenae in no way represents genocide or the destruction of all Kami worshippers on every continent. Our goal is to restore Verdant Heights and the lands of Matis to what it should rightfully be, purging our lands and our lands only of Kamist influence.
We hold true to the pact of mutual assistance and honor our treaty of peace. When kitin threaten the livelihood of all homin, we are by your side if only then. Do not believe that as soon as our ranks swell we will abrogate our treaty and invade Fyros or Zorai lands, for that is simply not the case. The target of our intentions is the misguided hearts of the Matisian people and the faltering faith of Jena as we see it, for all revolutions start in the hearts of good homin. And we still hold out hope for you, o poor misguided followers of the Kami, that you may see the error of your faith and realize the great deception that has been played on your fragile reality. A lot of people have complained that Ryzom has been lacking in content, and I have come to realize that it is partially our own fault. To a large extent, the community has the opportunity to create the most thrilling content on its own. Its a living world, so let's act like it. Cheers !
