Put some NPC's playing drums at the entrance of Zora

Post by raynes »

Since no suggestion thread exists, I am suggesting this here. Right now when you walk into Zora music starts up with drums. I think it would add atmosphere and some humor to the game if there were some NPCs playing drums as you walk into Zora.

I did that but the people in my house didn't care too much for it. ;)

this thread brought up a good topic.

Humor in SoR.

I mean, the yubo peeing on you is *kinda* funny, but not really.

I want to hear the kami and npcs make fun of you and stuff.

Humor is a good thing so long as its done to fit in with the environment. I think it would be funny to see a Kami or Karavan mocking each other.

BTW, the Kami do laugh, I would just love to know what the joke is.

The musicians in Fairhaven should be there too. But they should be attackable so I can kill them.

Actualy what Zora needs is for the devs to take out alot of the usless NPC's as myself and guild included avoid that town at all cost as it is lag heaven and I cant recall the # of times I have crashed upon entering that city

Just because you or some other players don't have the computer or network connection to handle the game, doesn't mean the devs should ruin the atmosphere. If you are having graphical lag, turn down your settings. If you are having network lag, stop playing with a 56K modem.

Zora is a city. Cities have lots of people. Taking them out would only make Zora seem more empty than it already is.

The more players avoid that area because it crashes their client, the more empty the town will seem.

So if Zora is so empty due to lag caused by NPCS, how come Jen-Lai, Hoi-Cho, and Min-Cho are also as empty of players? They certainly don't have as many NPCS as Zora. Taking NPCS out isn't going to increase the number of players that go to Zora by any significant amount. It can only serve to ruin the atmosphere they provide.
