Green background on items...

Sometimes, I'll find harvestable items with a green background. Are these quest items that I should pay attention to?

Also, all the things I craft have a green background. Anything special about them?

The harvest items you find with a green background are choice materials and up that are Matis specific. Each race has a color for their race specific materials and crafted items.

Btw, talking about crafted items. The color of the result is determine by the major colors of the materials used. I am trying to find more information on this, can anyone shed some light?

For example, I know
Gaoris - Green
Messabs - Green
Yubo - Green
Kipee - Purple
Ybers - Beige
,etc

And I actually harvested a "Blue" item before.
Where can I find a full list of this? (Trying to search for "teal" though).

Good you asked, lundfoci. I look for that myself.
All i can tell is that black stuff is only to find in the Roots. And the "normal" mobs like Yubos and what else usualy possess the race-specific colour of their worlds. So Fyros Yubos give beige, Zorai Yubos purple and so on. Btw.
