Well we didnt just stroll in. But, your right the gaurds would be the first to go in ever battle.
The guards and the camps disappeared after the event was over? Darn, that's really disappointing. I was hoping (and frankly, expecting) them to stay put, so that all your work and efforts would cause some permanent change in the gameworld. That's what we're promised, isn't it? That the actions of the players will have an effect on how the world evolves? That's what I'm hoping first and foremost for the future of Ryzom, that 'dynamic storyline'. I'd hoped we'd be given the chances to change the world, expand the nations, build guarded outposts to defend them, establish safe routes between the capitals, eventually maybe even create new cities. These outposts and guards had seemed to be a first step in that direction, but apparently it wasn't allowed to be so.
PS Yes, your work and efforts, I'm still on the training island myself.
