unable to display friends stam/sap/guild/title since patch

NEVROX -- the actual bug is that our "friends" are using the "enemies" settings in the options window. You can't view enemies stamina and sap, so at best, I can only ever see other people's HP and that's it.

PLAYERS -- if you're having this bug, submit a ticket! Mention in it that your friends hp/name/title are using your enemies settings, and that it's not possible for you to see other people's stamina and sap unless grouped.

A number of people in my guild are affected, so I'm guessing a lot of us are.

Just heard from a GM it's a known issue. No need for more tickets from players. A patch will be inc soon, hopefully tomorrow.

Yes it's all fixed up now. However, everyone not in your guild will now use the Enemy In-Scene display stuff instead of Friend.

And if this "fix" is the way its intended to work - they make me cry in anger.

I attended the two assaults on crafting camp in matis territory and so i know the difference out of a healers perspective:

- unable to see anyones sap/stam pool , exception: my own team

- unable to target players, as they dont differ from mobs around them, exception: my own team. "ctrl-space" doesnt work on them. Try to heal that brave homing fighting in the middle of 6 kitins - no way!!

- unable to target dead players. This is even more frustrating. Try to target that brave homin who died in the middle of dead kitins due to u failing to heal him. No way, unless you know his name and type in some commands in the commandline.

You see some healer roaring and crying out of frustration? Now you know why....


So tell me, is this the way it is supposed to work?

Piknik was mistaken. This has NOT been fixed yet, and is a known issue and bug that will be fixed as per the GM I spoke with. It wasn't intended that players should use the "enemies" settings.

Made the battle of the kitten a little tough.

Indeed that change did making playing harder.

Oh and by the way, to all the guards we so painstakingly produced I want my armor back seems you lazy good for nothing guards didnt even bother fighting the kitin when needed. I know you matis royal soliders are out there somwhere. Give me my stuff back!

I am trying to imagine how tanks managed to target the kitin at all.

However (and in my opinion this is currently an insignificant issue), for PvP purposes being able to know what another players sap and stamina levels are is a significant advantages. Though seeing as, the bars only work when close (20m?) to another player this advantage is rather small. Perhaps it was the intention of the developers to avoid this potential problem. Unfortunatly for all of use the changes to the bars (friends swapped to enemies) and the targeting problems where disastourious changes for a small problem that may never occur.
