Would have helped if the boss was killable at an average of 1k damage a second with 80 people attempting to get it (subtle hint - hp regeneration rate doesn't need to match the hps). Was very depressing to see a group organized so well only to meet with a design flaw despite all the best efforts of players, and no staff responding to cries of 'um, this doesn't look right' for almost an hour. And yes, maybe we do need more players in the great effort - but this reminds me distinctly of the very first event held on the server, where a GM finally killed off the boss after it killed everyone.andreaw wrote:...for the fun and thrills seeing those VAST boss-mobs gave me
Don't take me wrong - I appreciate the planning and effort that went into this and its a lot closer to what I thought I was subscribing to - but the comments I and others made back after the first day are all still valid. I hope Nevrax and Jolt take the comments in that thread to heart and not effusive praise.
Look forward to finishing this whole series tomorrow.
