I think the event is great! Too much clicking, yes, but aside from that it works well and gives everyone a bit of the apple rather than just being for the fighters. I think, if Nevrax were going by what we are doing. we wouldn't have outposts. They'd all be overrun. We're being greedy, going for the weapon rather than the troops. I'd like to see more of a team effort to push these creatures back to whence they came. Rally Homins!

Ps. I do believe that people are now moving in the right direction when it comes to troops and the like. The initial flurry of greed has been sated and the pride of all homins is at stake!

It isn't an event, they are usually announced and lasting only a few hours.

This is part of the story that matters, i.e. the continues and evolving story of Atys.

Well actually I wrote a long reply to this, but thanks to Nevrax server, it was lost :( Oh well, must get used to this...
I summarize my opinion in short:
Idea of the event: great
How they realized it: awkward

As Sxarlet said: DETAILS NEVRAX!

And hey this event (I wont call it part of the storylin until I see the storyline which is non existent atm) is fun because of Sxar and other Evos are working their butts out to make something out of it. For me I haven't been sleeping more than 5 hours in the last 4 days. But the bugs make this whole event frustrating.

Tried joining in and got a lot of DP through lack of support, went back to doing what I normally do, discovered everyone else already had.

Great idea but like patch 1 would have been nice if they had talked to the customers first to make sure it went right first time, but hell why break the habit since release.

You dont seem to realise that we make the story and this invasion is part of that process.

it will be sad to see this event go without them even adding any rewards for mages =/

its all melee rewards nothing for us nukers to fight the kittins with except some really bad stat high q amps that cast slower than a sleepy snail >.<

No you misunderstood me. We made the best out of this event, so in this interpretation you are right, this is part of the evolution (get it Sxar?) how the players identify themselves with the world of Atys. So we aggre on that.
BUT this is only one part of the picture, 'cos story is something Nevrax has to implement since it would be stupid to tell the players that they should do every little thing in the game. I don't think we, the players make a bad job making Atys a good, fun-to-be-here world, just remember the weddings, the baal, the trips, etc. But we can't make a story, 'cos we are only the actors, not the writer. The writer is Nevrax and it's funny the actors are better then the novel :)

must say i aggree. the amps i have heal 1/4 less then my lower q crafted ones. So a bit odd i would say. If they realy think its to overpowerd to give al round good amps just make different ons: ele/heal/affliction ext...

i can make amps with 85-91% all round stats if the prime root mats didnt dissapear so fast i cant get anywhere near the stats the melee weapons have unless i got supreme mob mats i guess lol just seems odd that they have unique melee weapons on offer to fight the kittins with but not amps....


well i spose they are unique in a way the only place you will find a high q amp with stats like that is in someones critical crafting falier bin :P
