The Lakelands were defended bigtime!

Huge thanks to Sxarlet for coordinating tonights event (even though he wasnt appointed as such nor volunteered).
Great greetings to all homin who attended, great and small. How high your skill is, how well you fighting, it didnt matter, everyone did their very best. Some came out with a maximum dp, some with only a little.
We had fun, we had cross-guild alliances, people rezzed without asking about money or guild or Karavan-Kami things, we just stood at the very brink of or chances.

At a certain point some players had to respawn in Windermeer and made it back to the first basecamp, but not without asking for an escort from there. So the very random group that was available at that time set out, all medium lvl (I think the highest was 106 melee). Sneaking past and through the largest group of Reaping Baddies, fighting two and winning, they made it to the camp there.
There they met. Now about 35 Tryker were in Bounty Beaches. Fighting, digging, rezzing, dying.

Things went ugly at the point where the known harvestingspots were empty and we could look for new ones, because of the death involved. Some higher lvl people left at 500K dp, some went to bed. Things fell apart.

A new group was rallied at Fairhaven, mostly lower lvls. They met more in Windermeer and a fresh group of recruites set of for danger area. From almost no Trykers left, the population peaked again to some 20 again.

They travelled swift and moved to the second camp, to gather new resources. On the way, someone looked ugly at a Yelk. Then someone else prodded a mektoub.

I stood on a hill nearby and just watched, did nothing not to infuriate the poor grazers that were merely protecting there young.

I didnt see the Kincher sneaking up on me from behind.

Although we may have lost the battle for now, we wil press on, we will not give up.

May the Atys gods guide our hands and may we never surrender, for this is only the beginning. It is not only the beginning of a new era of war, it is also the time that guild difficulties are set aside to fight our common enemy.
