the 40 token one is 200q but +20% on all stats i heard :( they should have done a 120 token amp for each town aswell as a 120 token weapon as not everyone is a fighter

i would much rather of had a 200q 90-100% on all stats amp with 400 sap boost but hey cant be fussy :D

The event seemed to start in the usual way nobody seemed to know what the event was really about. So after a few attacks on the overloads and getting wiped out a few times and collecting over 700k dp I decided it would be more useful working off the dp rather than collecting it.

So after working off the dp shooting gingos and ragus and harvesting in Kami Circle (missing the naked boxing in the process). I decided to take another look at the invasion event.

Decided to get a living dagger (120 prime tokens) so after managing to stay awake exchanging claw for tokens and tokens for better tokens, I got the dagger it has 200 hp, 300 sap and 100 stam bonuses and max. dmg of 141. It's a ql 200 dagger so it will not be of any use for the invasion as the max. I can use is ql 180 atm.

In the normal events we do not get dp which is probably why most people charge around like headless chickens trying to find out what is going on. But when you get dp in events it would be more useful to adopt better strategies.
If events are going to gain us dp I would at least like to know about it first so that different strategies can be adopted.

That said the event as an idea was good although it could have been planned better. Events are supposed to be fun and stood around 2 NPCs for hours is not really my idea of fun.

For me 1 hour of fun in the event (near the beginning) = 3 hours of grinding dp away.

the event was a disappointment... enough said :) this was in part because of everyone wanting an event so bad, so the devs threw one together without bug-proofing/looking it over... and it's a stall game til the final patch 2 comes...
In response to the ignorant players out there:

I have more heart than anyone would know :) I will let you in on a little secret... I am doing this for my newborn daughter... no one else... I like that game, but I do not have the time anymore. My first priority is to my daughter. End of story.

It is still going on.

The only problem I have with it is the sheer dullness and (literally) painful grind of so much clicking to cash in tickets etc.

Too painful for me to face it tonight though I really want to stay involved in the event.

Hopefully the ball will re-enthuse me.

Well, after a lot of talk, reading websites and scouting it seemed there was / is a invasion in Bounty Beaches...

We dont even know what we can get from the 'master of war' because he is very hard to reach. (In fact, I dont even know where to find him except that he is in BB somewhere! And we tried, we really tried!)
It is just very hard to fight multiple target of lvl 180 at the same time!
(If you get near, there is a complete 'wall of kitins' in BB. And the old mobs (Zerx, Cutes, etc) are still there too!)

The invasion in Fyros really looked cool, altough i have to agree with the comments mentioned earlier.

The invasion in Tryker... Well that really sux!

LOL - point #1 reiterated. :)

I really hope they take the thread to heart. Its not as if we don't appreciate them trying to do an event - I'd agree that this is a lot closer to what I thought I was subscribing to than any other experience so far - but I'd rather they delay all the work a week or two after all that work to get it right.

And also - it appears the other shards have a little bit more of a hint from an event coordinator type. This type of communication is something that the jolt-run server seems to be missing.
