I can vouch for her, she's getting up there ya know... really hideous, the dog took a bite out of one of her ears too, I think her hearing is starting to go as well.

Not *****ing but I have always found the healer xp situation to be odd. If you are the lower level fighter in a group you can sometimes find yourself in the situation where you just hope to the Kami you can hit the mob once before it's dead so you can get xp. I think this may be the same for offensive mages. However, you can be a level 20 healer in a group fighting level 250 mobs and get xp on every kill easy.

Sorry, I just don't get this part in the patch at all, it is way over my head.

Range? Define Range.
Healer? Define healer, there is no 'class' healer, at what point is a healer considered a healer? at the point they cast a heal spell?

No, a healer can not group up, and just sit down and go eat dinner and come back levels higher, you have to do something to get the exp .. atleast that is how it used to be..

This is so confusing

Well actualy there is a heal class when deffense magic splits at 51 at this point you can level just the healing skills. heal,sapheal,ect.

as for the range thing I beleive it has to do that if you heal someone away from the group you would not get xp for the fight if you are more then 50m away. I could be wrong Ill look at it tonight when im healing for our team.

Hi guys,

"-Healer will get their group xp as long as they are in healing range."

I had to ask on this one. It seems that some healers could and would stand up to 150 or more meters away from their group, heal, and get the xp without any of the risk of group fighting and the aggro that comes with it. To change this healers must now be within a certain range (we believe it to be 50 meters) to gain xp from their group's kill. Healers can still be far away and heal if they feel like it, but won't gain any team xp from it.

Hope that clears it up a bit.

uhh... so if the guy i'm healing from max range (for whatever reason), needs to take a few steps forward, then I get no exp?

Healers have lovely problems with not getting exp if the people they are healing drops and needs to be rezzed... especially nice with AOE specials that ignore armor which some mobs have

Healers are 100% helpless... they have no ability to protect themselves from mobs. None of their abilities work on themselves... none of their abilities work on mobs without leveling elemental first.

Healers now get no exp if they are further away than some number that someone pulled out of the sky at some point?

"The devs are ruining this game! Now our healers have to be within dangers reach. The mobs go agro right for them and they can't protect themselves!"

hahahah yea its funny but I have no problem with this as im usualy standing 5m from the fighters and most everyone in my team can heal everyone else. Real feild medic are usualy right next to the people fighting. Just means you will have to adjust to it not a huge deal.

Which speaking for myself is true. Whenever I hit somebody with heal it's like I'm using taunt on the mob - I am immediately aggro'd. I am dependant upon my team mates to save me.
