Re: Ryzom rocks!
You are all talking about generic MMORPG content, you know, the content every other MMORPG has that defines it as an MMORPG. Above that, where is the content that makes Ryzom "Rock!"? Quests, the game defining quests are not in the game yet, those "quests" in now are pathetic, basic "collect" this ...

Re: Ryzom rocks!
How does Ryzom rock?
What can you do apart from kill mobs over and over, chat and craft?
The content isn't in yet! So how can the game rock?
So you are either lying or easily (very easily) pleased. And I'm not saying Ryzom is a bad game, but to say it rocks in it's current state is pathetic.

Re: The WoW community..if u can call it that ...
From a phycoanalytical point of view, kids will always be more vocal as they haven't been "beaten down by life" yet. Adults (or so called Adults) on the other hand swan about proclaiming themselves "mature" and also have a habit of defending bad games to the death. This is because Adults know sod ...

Re: WoW vs Ryzom (my point of view)
Pity it's the same mobs over and over, for no real reason..... You use the same attacks at 50 as you do at 200, all the flash stuff you get inbetween is good for showing off with and that's all... In six months time, this game may have something, we are paying to play beta at the moment. The maps ...

Strafing when Melee'ing
Anyone tried this? Since players have to be "Facing" the mob to Melee, I would assume the engine sets simular rules for the mobs. I have tried it myself, constantly circle strafing to try keep at the back of my foe, and it seems to work (I get hit less) but I'm not sure how I can prove it ...

Logging on Zorai
Have a problem when logging on my Zorai chars, first time I try client will hang after selecting character and will stick on loading screen. I have to ALT-F4, wait 5 mins and try again, and will get through with no problems.
Not a major issue I know, annoying none-the-less.
