Installed my new card today, ATI x1600. What an amazing difference that has made, now instead of having run with minimum settings, can run at pretty much max! NO lag now!!! Looks beautiful now

Thanks for your response Zerlin. Yeah have figured I should go ahead and upgrade my video card. As it is now, i have everything set on minimum. nitially i had vm enabled, 2 gigs worth. I noticed my hard drive was alittle to active. So i tested performance with vm/ without vm. Results were pretty much the same, maybe slightly better without vm enabled. Windows update is also disabled, only let it check for updates when I have nothing else ...

I played this game for awhile about 6 monthes ago, but gave it up. Am back for a second go. I loved the game but the lag was just to horrid to tolerate. Even with all options set at minimum, i still lag, maybe not at first, but after say 30 minutes tops, it starts to lag and gets progressively worse ...

Thanks Tekku for posting the mininova link. Judging from the file size it appears like it might be the correct size, 1.53 gigs.
