Re: Newbie Question
Jena, the pretender? I bet "she" is either some sort of alien (thus the karavan's disreguard for Atys) or some kind of kitin :D ALL HAIL THE KAMI! edit: not to mention the fact that those karavaners never show themselves.. what do they have to hide? are they a buncha gooheads? or some sort of kitin ...

Re: Mass Murderer or RPK?
My question is; How important is it for PvP to have harvesters to attack? (and possibly Trekers too) Is this a major factor, or only a minor diversion? Can PvP stand on its own without attacking harvesters? This only really becomes important when one wants to say, disrupt one's enemy's supply lines ...

Re: SoR vs WoW
Just one word. Spires And People will like it, or not. *sigh* They will bring exactly this. And just as a nudge, don´t you think, appart from the whining here, that there being a discrepancy between Karavan and Kami Players, resulting in more OPs to the one side and less to the other, IS allready a ...

Re: Mass Murderer or RPK?
The problem with such solutions is that you effectively provide the PvP player with what they really want (well, some of them) a fight. If you don't like PvP, why help the people doing something you don't like? Then you are the digger that the pvp'ers are trying hard to protect? hehe.. But as ...

Re: Mass Murderer or RPK?
So if entering GvG zones to dig means you could get attacked.. why not bring backup, make an event out of it, with your guild or faction? That seems like a good way to make the danger of digging in gvg something emersive and rp'ish? Of course that assumes there are enough people around for that sort ...

Re: SoR vs WoW
It seems like that making a dynamic world where players can change things is a very difficult target to hit and be commercially successful. Especially when there are thousands of players on each server. Static is easy in comparison. Static's advantage is that every player is guaranteed the same in ...

Re: Before the starting area where was I?
Here is what confuses me, from the "New Beginning" part of the website's lore section: Up until the dark days of the exile, the homin peoples had always lived separately. The collapse brought them together. The refugees of the Prime Roots [/u] had no other choice but to learn to tolerate one ...

Re: OOC Chatter..
Ha yes I've seen people come up with that explanation.. "oh it works because uh.. we're all telepathically linked" heh.. well whatever works I guess.. I'd still see say... /universe, as more of a global help channel being ooc.. unless theres an actual in game /help channel? heh...

Re: OOC Chatter..
Generally speaking, a 'regional' or 'universal' channel doesnt really fit into RP related things.. how do you integrate the ability to converse in such a wide manner in a in-game way? I just view those types of channels as /ooc channels (from the good old mud days) and anything thats 'local' such as ...
