Sounds like your game resolution is set higher than your desktop resolution. The minimum game resolution is 1024X768, check to see if you can at least match that with desktop, that should solve your problem.

I had that, but it all went full screen when you finish the char creation and go into the game itself.

I had that problem too and it did it in game as well every time I log in. I have to go into the graphic options and change the Hz value to get it to reset itself.
