Its pretty often you have to report small messages to your guild members. It would be very handy if the leader and high officers for example could make a guild MOTD, so a guild member can see it when he logs on.

For example:
Guild meeting tonight at 8pm, Welcome our new member xxx, Trip to Zoraï planned at 7pm, ....

Since they already got a global MOTD, I don't think it will be hard for the devs to make something similar.

I am forever missing guild meetings and such.

I have sent in this as a suggestion two times i think. Apparantly more people have to say that they need it for the devs to consider it an important enough improvement.

But i think it is an absolutely wonderful idea!

A similiar suggestion I've put in is that the leader and/or high officers have the ability to send a tell to the whole guild at the same time (excluding those offline of course) There's been many times when I needed to send info to everyone and the guild chat jsut wasn't cutting it cause people were in teams.

Also an online/offline listig on the guild member window. Now that would be useful.

Yeah I like both of those suggestions. Particularly the online/offline listing, similar to the friend list but on the guild window.

Support told me the suggestion has been passed to the Devs (it has been upgraded to some kind of new status)

If not implemented, use the guild forum in game, works pretty good too.

The only problem with the in game forum is that people forget to check it a majority of the time. There's no shortcut key for it unless you create a macro, and it wasn't working for the longest time so people don't think to look for it.

I have a hard enough time getting my guild to register/use our out of game forum, much less the in game one
