could anyone please verify this bug in the registration form from release?

Could anyone out there verify that the early registration form wouldn't take words like Terrace, or apartment numbers??? So I could point tech support to this post if I have to?
I was locked out of an account because when the website was hacked, the new web password was sent to an inactive email address. We couldn't get in to *change* the email address, because we didn't have the new password! No big deal until we had to reissue one of our credit cards, and were locked out for good once billing was cancelled.
So ... no big deal ... billing support asks for some info on the account to verify it's really us. I give them our address, XXX 8 TERRACE #12. THEN I remember that, just after release, the account creation form would NOT accept the word Terrace, nor Ter., nor an apartment number. So I send a second email explaining this and saying I had to type it in as XXX 8 STREET, and that's what would be on the account.
Now it's come into question whether I'm the account holder. If I'd remembered that form bug before I sent our street address, my gf would be back in game playing now. It's atrocious that we've been locked out of an account because they changed our password, we were unable to GET it from them, and THEN we were unable to verify our account because we couldn't type our proper info in in the first place. I've already given them the game password / original web password on the account, but they don't want to take that as verification.....
