Ryzom

Hi,

I do not think that my request is really too much. I'm trained in giving and asking a Estimated Completion time (ETC - Estimated Time to Completion) in my work and thus will appreciate if Ryzom will always give us a ETC.

If the ETC is to be delayed, please also keep us informed so that we can plan our time better instead of sitting in front of the PC and trying to connect every now and then.

I hope that Ryzom will take my suggestion into consideration.

PS : I have checked the announcement forums and there is no given ETC.

I hope that those who feel the same way as me or disagree with me will also leave their opinion.

Hi Lukati,

I know that there is an announcement about the server been down in the announcement forum but there is no ETC in that announcement. (I have mentioned it in my PS)

For more update,

I even tried logging into Kclient and asked what is the estimated up time for the server and thus received no reply.

Thus I'm frustrated to say that I tried every way I know of to get the estimated time of completion but not getting any results

i agree that EST should be given. even if it changes (as it can) but at least we have an idea of what is going on. This is the frustrating part of downtime. Not the fact that there are problems but more the fact that it could be up 5 mins later or 3hrs.

Glad that someone shares my sentiments

If the estimated time is 12 hours, it would be respectful of the players time to let them know. Maybe, I would like to read a book, go out and eat dinner, etc., and make good use of the time. Like wise if the estimated time is 30 minutes maybe I would like to stay and play.

This is what I meant by planning my time. I don't want to keep sitting at my computer and kept trying to reconnect. Maybe I can catch a show if it's estimated to be down for 3 hours.
