i haven't been able to see how things are since the latest patches. hows foraging in umbra now? hows everything actually? whats the latest on combat, magic, harvesting and so on since the latest patch?

i have ordered my own custom gaming PC and should be coming soon. it was the families PC that decided to have a fit. i'll fix it when i feel like it. my new PC is not top of the line but damn close. cost me quite a bit too. thank you christmas bonus!

i should be up and running next week sometime hopefully.

for now i play offline rpgs on my PS2....

My life hasn't changed a lot. PvP is of course the big thing on the table, and being a low level cannon fodder type person, I avoid fights I know I"m going to loose in advance.

If you are a low level, less than 100 in PR forage, the changes will be a pain in the rump a bit. You will no longer be able to pull up any excellent or supreme mats. Since I fall into this catagory and I"m trying to build up my levels, this is an annoyance. When the excellent mats pop up, I have to sit on my butt, until they go away again and I can get back to my harvesting. If you are high level, move along, nothing to see here.

Mobs have been moved around in the roots. No more kinchers guarding the enterances. Fewer wandering patrols. Lots more argo mobs sitting on good forage spots though. Or, so it seems to me.

Combat and Magic I haven't done since the Patch 2 went live. Seems pretty similar to what it was before. Magic resists have come down quite a bit from their patch 1 highs.

Umbra is an open pvP zone now. If you enjoy Pvp, this is great news. If you want to harvest, you have one more thing to watch out for.

well i am over lvl 100 in PR forage but its still gunna be interesting to see how things are down there with the new PvP thing.

There are reasonably mature types like Doubletap who tried to create a sort of "event" by claiming the nexus for the Karavan. This rallied all kinds of various guilds to the cause of keeping it open to all races and players. There is a nice thread about this.

There are supposed to be some new "limited supply" uber mats in the PvP zones. I don't know how limited, or how much a person must camp an area to be able to forage any of these mats.

The argo hasn't changed, so most griefers are going to camp spawn points and entry points etc.
