Anyone else getting the message that "selected shard is unavailable" when they try to login?

Server status says the server is up so just wondering if I'm bugged or something.

No the shard is up for CSR and support but not to the public yet. It's a bit misleading, I'm sorry. But the shard should be coming up soon.

Its something minor the web-masters should fix.

Neither the website, nor the client actually show the correct server status. Both places are pure fluff. I had believe the "They show that the server is up, not that you can log into it" line that has bandied about, but recently disproved that when there was a server crash, and both the web page and the client continued to show that the server was up during the crash/restart.

For now, you should treat the server status like the features list on the game box

I hate when this happens... I know that I can't have my cake and eat it too, but that 'shard not available' message hurts so much.

Now it says closed =( i understand it is open a short time. But Still they should give better info on down times and such.... So that we not sit and try to relog 10000000000000 times becuse we enjoy playing a game that will not be up for hours...

Best thing to do if you want to know if a server is up or down is to get yourself a copy of the klient....here is the link for those of you still in the dark .
