If you want to stand you press-------stand
If you want to sit you press----------sit
If you want to be in walk mode you press----walk mode
If you want to be in run mode you press-----run mode
Just about every action you WANT to happen you press the button for that action EXCEPT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dodge and parry mode MY GOD!!!! WTH!

I wanted to enter parry mode so i pressed the button that said parry mode

the game replied " you start dodging"

I thought to myself maybe I accidently double clicked it so I tried again this time it said dodge mode so I figured I would click once to enter dodge mode and then click another time to enter parry mode like the button said.

the game replied " you start parrying" "you start dodging"

I figured maybe my mouse is too sensitive so i logged out and readjusted it, I tried it with the same results , I had about given up when it dawned on me

YOU CLICK THE BUTTON FOR THE MODE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE IN!!

It makes perfect sense!!! <sarcasm>

After hours and hours of trying to figure this out, It dawned on me that SoR has something backwards.......

they gotta fix that button but then there will just be more confusion

UGH!

That's better than the system response I got for the parry/dodge toggle. Last time I tried it was about 2 weeks ago, but at that time I received absolutely NO FEEDBACK in the system message area OR in the chat area.

So at least that seems to work now per your post.

The whole parry/dodge concept had been screwed up. No feedback in-game, the button was not like the other buttons, crafted items don't display their dodge/parry bonuses, and no one really knows for sure when you parry or dodge or what weapons, shields use them, or for what reason it occurs or not, and at what point in the hit process.

Anyway, here's to hoping at some point that they document it fully in game, seems that they must have fixed some of it if you get a feedback when using the toggle now.
