Just a quick question. Do you think we should be told about what is comming in future patches. And what dates the patches are scheduled for.

Even the announcement forums are hit and miss. Sometimes you get info ahead of time and sometimes you don't. Also, it seems like there's no coordination between the communities on what info is released to us and when. Often, you'll see Lawrence post upcoming patch info in the European-English forum and there isn't anything in our forum, and vice versa.
I'd like to see once central announcement forum that's shared by all communities where they'd put the official info so everyone saw it at the same time and got the same information. Who knows what's posted to the French and German forums by their community leaders that we're not seeing.

Umm...We are being told both of those...

yes, we are being told...usually a few days in advance about ONE patch, maybe two. I think what they are talking about is much more than that.
I know I would like to know where the game is heading. The idea of limited PVP is sounding a bit better than some of the other PVP situations I have been in, sounding more like I can actually avoid the mosh pits...since that is what I wish.
But I am interested in a time when we can actually EXPLORE this world and not have to grind out for two months so we can have enough invulnerablity, speed ups etc.

NO mmorpg is EVER complete, the day that they stop changing a game is the day they turn OFF the servers.
Completion is really the wrong word for it. They posted in interviews to various websites and magazines about their plans. You MIGHT want to read around a bit, I honestly forgot where it was I read about the six month expansions and all, but I vividly remember it.

Thanks Lyrah you are right about the completion scedule phrase. You know its a good thing they told the interveiwer about the six month expansion. Otherwise we may never have known they had any plan at all. I mean why would they tell us we just play the game and pay them. Thanks again Lyrah.
ps: Your chars name is Lyran isnt it?
