PvP report after patch 29

Yesterday we (moneo, me and a few french/german players) tested some PvP (Arena), FvF (Fleeting Garden) and GvG (on Nexus) to find out the new things.

A few news about them:

PvP at arena:
- The pvp-zone in the center of the area works well. There are only a few locations at the border of the area, where the PvP-Zone should be, but isn't (if you don't find them, we got to show them to you).
- Timer works well

FvF:
- There is still no way to find out who is your opponent and who not - titles are still not working
- We found no problems with the messages - they were correctly displayed after entering the area by feet and by summon
- The "neutral" status was changed - now these players can be attacked from both other sides (when they were not attacked by those, too!), but they are not able to heal any of both sides
--> Players suggested that neutral homins should not be attackable by anyone, but should also not be able to heal any other one (except another neutral person)

GvG:
- We found no problems with the messages - they were correctly displayed after entering the area by feet and by summon

Miscellaneous:
- Mages are still doing big damage (near by no difference than before), but melees are bit weaker now - currently the mage will win the duell for sure - there is no way to kill the opponent with only one attack, mage has to cast at least two times to kill a similar leveled opponent

- to be continued -

I agree Atyra concerning the GvG and FvF.

I complete also for the one vs. one and arena.

-> About some actions allowing players to use combos that cannot be defended against, resistances and anti magic spells should help to limit these problems. Is this the case?

A warrior with anti magic spell can won versus a magician?

Absolutely yes, the aura activation can be decisive in fight, warrior against magician.
The protections, anti magic/melee, are very effective. Like "rage" which must be used safely as it can turn back on you

The Magicians have always a decisive advantage?

No. Madness is good balanced now. It allows to counter an offensive magician easily. During a fight, it will allow doing more damages as possible with a big HP/SAP counterpart. With a very short madness spell, this huge attack can return on him. After, thatÂ’s a question of Game play.
(For example a warrior with a 2 handed enchanted weapon can be advantaged)

-> About the duration of the fight: The dominant is the too short: the damage was reduced for PvP against a player, it would be necessary to test to provide a return on the adjustment.

The combat lasts so longer with aura?

Yes, the aura is tactical, increasing the time of the fight. Feedbacks are positive about it.

The improvements are appreciable for this type of PvP.
