That all the prices from the NPC's are WRONG?

Packers that used to cost 100,000, show 122,000, and when bought, cost 148,000?

Tickets that show 9,486 to buy, cost 12,246 when purchased?

Materials that show cost of 436 cost 618 when purchased?

This is consistant for everything bought from an npc, its off by as much as (1/3 * cost) + cost.

I get, and understand that the npc's now take faction into account, and my Matis faction is currently a 70.

Is this consistant?

Or is something fubar with my client?

Ok, then I am not crazy, and there is some sort of new 'Tax' in the game that was not mentioned before.

Interesting feature.

This was mentioned in one of Cerest posts. As far as I can tell there is a best price and then a price you pay which is influenced by your faction. Its confusing and should be addressed. "The preview price is the price you pay" I believe the post reads... and that is the price that shows up in the window just before you hit "buy" or "sell". I haven't checked but Player items shouldn't have been affected.

I liked it better when the price you saw in the list was the price with faction. Some things (packers, tickets) didn't have faction but vendor prices changed with faction. I'm gonna see if I can convince a Corsair to sell me his packer since its my highest faction. :)

As with most things, new issues/bugs were introduced with this patch and several of the old ones are still there to contend with. But now I can kill Gfunk the 2xStar Suckling Yubo (with a 10% life meter that jumps to 90% when I strike it)! Watch out for the invisible Mektoubs though... I hear they are in league with the uber Slaveni plants.

Its all npc items, i did a cross culture test.
My ticket prices shows the same in Fyros and Matis, and costs the same in Fyros and Matis, but my Fyros fame is 8, my Matis fame is 70.

There equal on the forumla I mentioned (1/3 * cost) + cost, across the board.

This is for ALL npc items in both Fyros and Matis for me.
Taken that into consideration, its not based on faction, its just broken.

Problem is that Fami is NOT being considered for the actual selling price, only for the price displayed. I'm paying the same price for tickets with factions that I have high standing with that others with low standing are paying. Same goes for raw mats.

well for me, i went to fyrox last night. i bought a couple tickets in pyr from the kami welcomer, then i went to the karava person just outside of pyr and paid the same price i had paid for the kami ticket

thing is i have 76 personal karavan fame and -76 kami fame, so it's not taking fame into account at all

Thanks guys for posting on this, atleast now I know for certain, that it is not faction based, and that its just a financial flaw in the system.

Maybe the extra funds are going into the cities coffers so they can rebuild the destoryed outposts, who knows.

Just another one of those impromtu bugs that show up when they make a core change in the system.
