Hiya

Thanks for everyone who turned up for my around the world trip. This is the first event I have organised and I had soo much fun !

We had a great turn out in Fyros and made it quickly to Matis where a lot more people joined as we headed for Trykker. I think there were over 100 players as we left matis.

Unfortunately the Matis-->Trykker route was very very tough with 10's and 10's of Kipesta and Kipucka. I had to leave for an hour or too as we reached Loria due to some unfortunate incident with my gf. (It came down to either her or the game - so I had to log until I had calmed her down !!)

Anyways when I relogged a lot of ppl had alreayd logged and so only a handful made it to Trykker. Alot of us were still in Loria so Kostika mounted a rescue which was very valiant but we didn't all make it despite lots of Trykker coming to our aid. Then I again had to log. So we made it about half way thru part 1.

All in all - I learned alot of things and now realise my intial planning was very ambitious. Having said that if the loria section had not been so tough we would have made it pretty quick. I hear things might get easier over that section after Tuesdays Patch :)

In Loria there were some stunning battles with 100 players chopping and hurling all sorts of magic - it was truly awesome. I have never seen so many high level players in one place before excpet maybe at an invasion event.

Anyway - thanks very very much to all who came. I hope we can do that again in the future.l

Special thanks to Coinneach for being our pathfinder between Fyros and Matis and to Denyria between Matis and Trykker. Awesome job guys :)

I hope you all had as much fun as I did :)

Was alot of fun and I think in the end we got most people to Tryker who werw wiling to wait for our rescue team to get there.

Was very tough to lead such a big group of people and I don't think I want to ever do it again. :D But I did enjoy myself alot.

Special thanks to Sxarlet and Seawe who werw my pathfinders between Loria and Tyrker and on the rescue mission. You were both fantastic.

Also thank you to the wonderful people who were willing to risk their lives rescueing those who got stuck in Loria.

This event brought out the best and worst for me.

As I'm sat here typing I'm almost in tears, not of frustration but of possibly having let people down.

There were quite a few Tryker waiting in Fairhaven to go to Zorai, and a fair few of us diehard travellers left so rather than have people be upset I thought we'd try and go on. Foolhardy perhaps, but what the hell. People were so nice to me about it though when I did have to leave, that's when I misted up.

We didn't make it, though.

I suggest next time we start in Tryker and do the hardest run first. The rest should then be a virtual breeze.

As I was saying, best and worst...

The worst...

Xorte having problems at home and not seeing all of his event unfold.
People giving up in hissy fits or at the slightest frustration.
People not following orders and getting everyone killed unnecessarily.
Selfish people who already had the spawns not seeing the 'point' or adventure in helping others - especially high level players who should - I think - take on some 'guide' attitude.
Not quite making it.
The Tryker crashes.

The best...

The camaraderie.
The fact we even managed to make the attempt.
The teams that worked well together.
That people DID wait and DID go back to rescue stranded comrades.
Seeing Tryker for the first time - its beautiful, but I want to go diving!
Running a group - for the last leg - and them listening to me!
Tell stories on the beach.

14 hours straight is a long time to play a game though.

I'm already hooked and this game can only get better.

Provided I'm not out I will rejoin any further planned excursion and, by hell, everyone will get all the spawns if I have to circuit the world three times!

Like to thank Xorte for organising this, was a damn good day. Shame things went abit pearshaped in Loria but its a very tough area atm and no ones fault.
Also like to thank all those who came out to try and rescue us after we got sepperated the sacrifice was appreciated and shows we have some good community spirit going.
btw finally managed to sneak whole way with lil team of 4 and made Avendale spawn :)

My day finally finished at 2am with me and Hellraiser trying to sneak past the entry Kinchers in the roots but they wernt gonna let us.

great event to participate in,

Cheers

Xorte,

I'm a Fyros and i would like to go to zorai. What is the best route to take?

Via the north portal? to the bush and take the south portal to zorai?

If you could gimme some advice i would be verry thankfull.

Thanks to Xorte, Coinneach and Denyria plus several other high level characters who came to help. What a great game, what a great day! Half of Fyros is in your debt :)

Well me anyway.

would be good if theres nothing on next weekend to maybe make another try for all of those who got to tryker but had to finish there trip.

i alrdy have the spawns but its good fun draging people halfway round the world killing stuff maybe we can decimate some of the mobs from tryker side of umbra to the zorai side and get some ticket spawns inside for harvesters who need them (there is 2 ticket spots in the lower part of umbra both that would be usefull to some people who may need to lvl there PR foraging make sure you take plenty of cash for tickets on the journey)
