Questions about non-combat stuff...

Is there anything you can do that is not, in some way, combat related or supportive?

So far everything I’ve seen that you can craft is just for combat purposes. What about furniture or clothing for style?

What about fishing? That could be a relaxing way to spend your time while you heal after dying or while waiting for friends.

Can you even sit in chairs? If so, how?

It lasts all of half a second it seems, and doesn’t even remind me of dancing. If I didn’t know better, I’d say my character was just drunk or light headed when I dance.

light armor is about as close to clothing as you get, since you can buy the BEST light armor in game and wear it immediately. Plus you can wear different races armor and be a fashion hound.

Methinks I recognize a fellow refugee from "a galaxy far, far away". ;)
Welcome! Would be nice to have some diversions, but maybe Atys is simply in too much turmoil for a poor homin to relax right now. :)

Who says you can't use crafted clothes for style? I base what I wear in my LA suit on looks (leaving my arms naked with my favorite suit, for the look). Same when I fight -- I use MA instead of HA just for the look. I posted a pic in the "preview clothing" thread here :P

I'd love for you to craft me some light armor that has a good focus rating and that looks decent.

There doesn’t seem to be a lot of choices when it comes to style, and until you’ve bought/seen everything on somebody (or gone to a web site), you don’t even know what something will look like until you’ve spent your money on it. I really don’t care about stats when it comes to clothing, unless I’m fighting, which I wish was less often. I just want options such as “button-up shirt” or some hat styles that didn’t require different hair-cuts.

I do believe form follows function, and should, when it comes to going into combat, but when you’re just walking around town or exploring, it might be nice to wear something that just looks pretty.

Some kind of paperdoll would be nice, too, although I can survive with just rotating the camera around and trying to find a good zoom level to check myself out in new duds.
