Strange reboot

Yesterday evening i played all night without a problem then all of a sudden my pc reboots. I log on again, log in Ryzom again and 30 seconds into the game i reboot again. I check my active tasks, nothing strange. I virusscan, nothing. I log in again, within 30 seconds reboot. I check ryzom forums, nothing there (but a tip to set the priority for the ryzom client on high in your windows-tasks. This seems to reduce lag). I log in again, i notice i died in between. I stand in FH and do nothing. Nothing seems to happen so i start prospecting and i reboot again. I probably should have waited longer, but it was late already and i wanted to sleep.

Anyone with similar experience or suggestions of what might cause this.

I did two changes in the setting last night. I changed my mouse to hardware (to avoid the lagging mouse). I played well over an hour with this setting without a problem.

I unchecked the buffer sound option. I don't exactly know when i did this, but it was near the end, so this might cause my problem but i am not long enough on to set it back.

I hope someone knows what might cause this.

I have a P4 2.4 with 512
Geforce TI4600 and use the onboard soundcard.

Does it actually restart the machine, or just crash it (to a blue screen for example)?

It restarts the machine. That's the strange thing. I haven't installed any new software (except the patch) and have been playing 3 weeks straight (with enabling and disabling sound) without any problem. This just came out of the blue.

How bizarre... I'm getting blue screens, but not restarts (I think my problem is sound related too because it stops when I disable sound...)
