Ryzom

Help.... just loaded todays patch....and now it wont let me load up....i get halfway through the screen after char selection when it the program comes to a grinding halt.....please help as my friend has my copy of the program(trying to get him into it too) so i cant reinstall with out downloading....and i dont fancy doing that....

Grinding Halt you say, you mean you get an error and the program dies or it just stops doing anything....?

Well if you have a firewall make sure it is on learn mode (if applicable).

Try running ryzom_recover in the root of the ryzom folder.

if these don't work try moving the files in your 'saved' directory to somewhere else, (these are only your interface files, you can continue breathing.... )

download and login using your game login and ask around I'm sure one of the wonderful guides or gm's will get right with you and help

i sorted it by reinstalling the game......after downloading a bugged copy i got really stressed so i went out and rebought it(my original being at my friends house 40 miles away) after reinstalling(i tried to repair first it couldnt find half the files) it then worked with no probs....


p.s. how could i get my new free month to register???
