Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem too.

I just got level 40 in Defensive Magic and tried to buy the upgrade for Heal 8. When I got to the trainer it wasn't offered to me either in upgrade or spell form. I thought this odd because I was currently using Heal 7. When I checked the requirements for Heal 8 in my upgrade tree it is saying I need Heal 6. Heal 6 isn't offered in any way from the trainer. So I checked the requirements for Heal 7, all it needs is Heal 5.

Now someone in my guild has Heal 8 but not Heal 6. The only difference between me and him is I upgraded my spells by buying upgrades exclusively and he bought the ready made spells. So I scoured the trainer for any heal upgrades or spells I might have been missing. There were no upgrades but 2 spells I didn't have, Heal Life 3 and 4. Now I didn't have those spells because I bought the upgrades to them (giving me Heal 5 and 7 respectively) yet they were still showing on the trainer (at a reduced point cost).

Thinking it was some bug or requirement issue I decided to buy Heal Life 3 and 4 even tho I had the Heal stanza I needed from them to see if it would open up Heal 8. 9 Points later I had the spells but no offering of Heal 8.

I've tried relogging before and after buying Heal Life 3 and 4. I've even tried different trainers. So has anyone else had this problem or knows of something I might be missing? Oh and incase it matters I don't have any of the Life Gift line, only Stam Gift 2.

You should be able to buy the heal 6 upgrade at level 25. Be sure to look for heal upgrade. You need heal upgrade 4 to get heal upgrade 6, and heal upgrade 3 to get heal upgrade 4. If the upgrades aren't appearing on your list, life gift 3 will give you heal 6 as well.

Heal life and life gift are basically the same spell (they just use different credits). It alternates between the two, so if you don't get the life gift spells you have to get the heal upgrade option.

Right now I don't have any new Heal spells or upgrades offered to me other than Life Gift 1.

Ok so to get Heal 6 I need Life Gift 3 which will then give me Heal 8. So from this point on I should probably start Leveling Life Gift along with my Heals to keep the best healing spells avail to me, right?

I was planning on investing in the Life Gift line eventually, I guess this is my cue
