Don't get me wrong, this is a good game, and im signed up - but these events are meaningless, if we lose - so what?

these events are fun

loosing/winning, what does it change?
well, the winning team gets a boost to its faction fame:
Goo invasion -> kamis won -> kami fame boost (and all kami related tribes too) = loss of karavan fame (and karavan tribe) + new Title (Kami champion)
Kitin invasion -> karavans won -> karavan fame boost (and all karavan related tribes too) = loss of kami fame (and kami tribes) + new title (Karavan champion)

This all together = 2 rival (if not ennemy) factions on Atys = more and more "troubles" related to this rivalry.

Note: i think there are way less Kami champions than Karavan champions on Atys now.

Yes there probably are, since a bunch of us Kami supporters didn't get a title after the last event, even tho we took part

And once again I was at work during an event.
