Nevrax,
I wanted to swing in and thank everyone here for this experience.
From the moment I got the game until the moment I logged out (hours later), everything went perfect. I have been playing MMORPG's since M59 and UO, and have played just about everyone of them since then. Most games sacrifice either fun and content for visuals, or sacrifice visuals for fun and content. You have managed to provide both, incredible visual quality and a lot of fun and content.
The most impressive part is that you provided all of this without so much as a hiccup in stability. I haven't seen this flawless of a launch in all of my years of playing MUD's and MMORPG's.
I can definitely feel the difference with Ryzom, the developers love this game and you can tell. Sometimes, in other games, you can really tell that it was all about the money... here though, there is a love for the game that is present in everything that I experience.
Thanks again!
EDIT ***
Sorry! I just noticed the other thread where I should have posted this
That will teach me to read the boards before I hop on and type

I can't explain it. I've played so many MMO's and I thought I was pretty much burnt out on the whole genre, but Ryzom has breathed new life into my gaming experience. Excellent work on this game Nevrax, I'm hooked!
By far the best gaming community I've been involved with so far.

I am loving it!
The community rocks, the game rocks ... can't wait for mainland tomorrow!
Now if I can only get my sig to work, rather than having to insert it manually. It keeps showing as a link rather than an image.
... if that is my worst problem ... we are doing OK!

After years of UO and then even more yeats in DAoC I was really getting burnt. But after reading about this game (from search on google for new mmogs) I fell in love.
Got the game yesterday and so far I've been having a blast. I admit I stayed up way to late playing it. I'm a zombie this morning.

I have played MMORPGs since back in the days when it was just MUDS and MUSHS. I have been through such games as the original Neverwinter nights on AOL and Shadows of yserbius/Fates of twinion. I have beta tested for almost every popular MMORPG out there including the Realm, EQ and UO.
I've known about this game every since the first concepts of it came out. I applied for the beta as soon as it became available. Even with such enthusiasm, I never got picked for beta. I was a little miffed about that but now playing the game I realized that the game is still fresh to me. I have a new world I can discover and not get bored cause I already know too much. As far as MMORPG releases go, this game has a pretty smooth launch so far. I am surprised that I'm not seeing as much people as there should be but I'm sure once people find out how nice this game is they will start pouring in. I definately don't want to see it end up like horizons.
