Matis - seems so quiet these days

Although I see people in Matis and tbh really up at yrkanis its got so quiet recently that down in FG and below Im lucky to see maybe a couple of ppl all night.
I counted 30 ish ppl online peak last night up in the main area but alot of these are new faces such as 14-day trialers. The number of names I recognised were only about 15.
However its alot busier over in Tryker, has everyone left Matis and started new characters over there ?

I have to admit the difference in the lands makes Tryker more attractive as you progressive to the higher levels than Matis by a long way.
The distance between a spawn and the Q200 mat areas in Matis is not in anyway equal to Tryker, Fyros of course the mats are outside of Thesos.

To get away from aggro just means entering water, meaning 9/10 times you survive. In Matis the nearest hope is an NPC village so 9/10 you die.

Water is also a bonus in travelling because torbaks generally dont lie asleep at the bottom of lakes.

So here I am faced with a quandry, give up on Matis and move to Tryker or just make a Tryker char and start again.

And then you hear Tryker chars complaining that they are the people with the worst area, because all the higher Q areas are so hard to get to. And traveling by water is so slow. And leaving water is not alway easy, because of the way the islands are build.

Until you played both for a long time I doubt anyone could compare the races objectively. And then it also depends on your playing style and personal goals.

Tryker were for a long time not able to reach PR. As a matter of fact for a long time not able to reach ANY other land. Now that that has changed Tryker lands seem more attractive for players.

I play a Matis on the NA server.... I just got to Tryker today, I must say its awesome :) Olny problem are the mobs all grouped up in one island where they can easily aggro or add. Yes there is relief in the water... but bah...I will explore Trykeland for another day or so then head back...

Nice to see your positive side !
Where did complaining come into it ?
Ive noticed as a Matis in a Tryker guild that Matis is quiet and Tryker is a lot busier. If you want a moan how about that I noticed last night that Tryker that the amount of aggro has halved, they havent done that in Matis.
