Game completely Dead now (is this thing on?)

Help me. PLEASE.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

I have run ryzom_recover dozens of times.

I have run the configuation program dozens of times in dozens of configurations.

I have updated my video card drivers.

I have run virus check software.

I have attempted to start the game dozens of times today. This game ran very well yesterday and ceased operating immediately upon installing the new patch.

I have attempted to use the repair feature on the CD only to be told that Data1 file is no longer valid.

When I am able to run, it comes up that checksums do not correspond and the game restarts and crashes with a run time error.

Every time I try to run the game now, I am told that wwwfile.dll is not a valid windows image. I solved that by copying the file from one of the other two copies on my HDD to the game directory.

The game is freezing my computer, crashing my computer and rebooting my computer. Nothing else is doing this, only the game. ONLY the game.

The changes I make to the configuration file do not save beyond one use.

What the hell is going on here? Can someone from Ryzom help me get back the game I was playing 24 hours ago?

Tin.

Try running the game by click on the EXE in the installed directory.

If you are using a shortcut and have 'multiple' copies of the game on you hard drive, you may find that the patching program is updating the wrong one.

Just a suggestions ... but you never know it just might work.

Try downloading the install client off the internet. Could be that your CD warped (or something) and corrupted a .cab file.
