Well, here's the result. I have an account (finally), but I lost the first free month.

It'd be best if the game admins provided a link, rather than my (bad) idea.

I could really use reimbursement here :P I solved the problem for a couple of people and shared it. Come on now, I would like to play - and I haven't even played a single minute and have lost my 30-days <_<

And we're working feverishly on providing you a button to do so. We hope to get a re-subscribe button tomorrow and fix this.

I don't recomend doing the above, if only it could do unknown things to your account.

Hardly unknown. It cancelled my subscription. :) However, I'm glad you found the post, and I just wished to get the general idea out to the public. There is a solution, and I wanted to make sure the admins/developers were aware of it. At the time, this was the best way I knew how (after all, I had an account... but didnt!)

I would also like to point out that the original post was made while I was going through the steps to ... whatever the heck I just did. I remove any comments made about nevrax and it's wev development and redirect them to bibi-wassit, the company responsible for ryzom's banking matters.

Also, I forgot to mention that it would be much more helpful to provide a link that somehow resubscribes... from ingame. At this point, it is impossible to patch the client without logging in, so it would be useless to the current (screwed) population, but it would help to change the Error Code 53 message to: "You have not completed your billing information. Please go to http://www.ryzom.com/profile and fill out your credit card information with our html-imputant banker."

I think you answered your own question. Live and let die, let's move on past this and hope people don't have to go to such extremes.

Tyrranie, I'm sorry my quick-fix did not work out so well for you. Please, for the love of all things loveable, contact billing-na@ryzom.com and explain your situation.
