Important Info about Range Skill, Ammo and Weapon Quality

Hi, all. I made an interesting discovery today about how your Ranged Weapon skill, the weapon quality and ammo quality affect the damage you will do.
Previously, I thought weapon quality was only important to match it to your accuracy stanza, which you matched to the mob level you were fighting, thus suggesting that you should upgrade your weapon every 25 levels. I found that you should actually upgrade your weapon every time you upgrade your ammo.
OK. I was using Q50 ammo, with 126/126 damage on it, loaded into a Q40 Riffle, my 2 handed ranged skill was at 54. The highest damage I was doing was only 109. Mob had 0% resistance to my damage type.
I decided to crunch the numbers. 40/50 = 0.8, the ratio of weapon/ammo Q. I then did 126x08 = 100.8. But I was doing more than this. So I thought, what if your skill works to better the difference between your ammo and weapon qualities. So I did 54/50 = 1.08, then I did 0.8 x 1.08 = 0.864. Finally calculated an expected damage 126 x 0.864 = 108.864 damage. Preety close to what I was doing. So here is the formula.
Expected Damage = (Weapon Quality/Ammo Quality) x (Skill Level/Ammo Quality) x Ammo Damage Rating.
in another form.
Expected Damage Ammdo Damage Rating x ((Weapon Quality x Skill Level)/squared(Ammo Quality))
NOTE!
The assumption here is Ammo Quality > Weapon Quality so you somehow can't magically get a damage multiplier greater than 1 and do more damage than your ammo quality allows
