To the Death! No... To the Pain!

By popular demand, and to prepare for the violence ahead, a tournament is being held to determine who kicks the most Atys.
***No Enchantments Allowed. Use of Enchantments will be deemed amongst most serious sort of shenanigans. Anyone found using enchantments will be subject to the most hideous torture imaginable***
The classes:
Fists of Fury
Armor: Pants only
Weapon: Fists only. No Magician gloves, either.
Magic: None
Power stanzas: None
Gunslingers
Armor: Any armor
Weapon: Pistols, rifles, launchers, autolaunchers, and bowrifles
Magic: None
Power stanzas: None
Masters of Magic
Armor: Light/Caster armour only may be worn
Weapons: Magic Amplifiers may be used
Magic: Any spell may be used
Power stanzas: Self Heal, Self Sap may be used
Meatshields
Armor: Any armor
Weapons: Any melee weapon
Magic: None
Power stanzas: Self heal, self stamina
The Rules:
Sign up with either Takashi or Shadowthorn. Do not bug the other GMs about this. You may include your character name in the thread and this will be a valid signup.
You may only sign up in one category
In the first part, each category will be divided between the races. If you are Tryker, you will participate in the Tryker league, Matis in Matis, and so on.
Once the signup period is closed, we will begin the fights. Designated fight nights will be scheduled so that mass groups can attend. If we have the time, we will also come and witness a fight between two of our warriors. Only GM-witnessed fights will count towards your win-loss records.
At the end of the period, the final rankings will be posted. Your rank will be a combination of things, namely:
1. Straight won-loss record
2. Number of fights
3. Winning percentage
Thus, you will be higher-ranked at 66-3 than at 8-0. You may be undefeated, but someone who's beaten 66 people is a bigger, badder fighter than someone who's beaten 8.
The top 6 players in each category will be invited to a Finals tournament for a single elimination bracketed tournament to determine the champion in each category for each land.
The winners in each category will be invited to a Best of the Best tournament to determine who is the best in each category. The winners in each of these categories will then face each other in a Last Man Standing face off to determine the Champion of Champions.
Do not interfere in someone else's fight. Shenanigans and problem-causers will be harshly punished.

Sign up now! (But how do i do that?) easy! just reply to this thread with your character name, your choice of class, and your race. Leave the rest up to us. If you cannot reply in here, please keep an eye on /who gm and send in a suggestion ticket with this info when you see Takashi or Shadowthorn in game. Do not send a /tell message.
There will be updated information regarding the rules and the proceedings throughout the sign up period. The sign ups will last through this week, and until next Saturday at 10am EST.
Update:
For mages, no Defensive Afflictions allowed. Sorry to all the DefAff mages out there, but save it for the mobs, they're not allowed here.
Equipment for mages will be provided, since this is a test of skill, and not of gear, the mages will be provided with an amp and a set of armor. No personal armor is allowed, nor a personal amp.
Other contenders are all to provide their own gear, since part of being a Meatshield is having the best gear, and frankly, you ranged weapon users really don't want what we have to offer in terms of ranged weapons(think blow gun only smaller and less dangerous).
If you have issue with the rules, please PM me, we'll discuss it, but this is a sign up sheet, and not a conversation thread, so keep your objections out of this thread or they will be removed. Nothing personal, but again, this is for signing up, not for chit chatting.
