Preorder code from gamestop doesnt work!

Hey, I just received my copy of the game about an hour ago and when i eneter my preorder code that i received in an email from gamestop.com it says its an invalid code?? anyone have any idea what the problem is, or has it happened to someone else? i triple checked the code to make sure i had it exactly right..

I know the devs are having a problem with the in-game item and codes. I entered my code and it worked but the ingame item is being fixed I was told and so are the messed up codes.

Make sure that it's not missing any characters. Each section is made of five characters xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx (can't remember how many sections there are).

I put my code in using all captial letters after it rejected it the first couple of times. That seemed to work for me. That and the address won't take an appartment number.

I had the same problem.... but it still hasn't taken my code... : / should I play the game or wait until the code works?

I mean I also had the apt. number problem... : /

I have a bad code from EB as well, but mine is missing the last 4 characters. Is there a thread somewhere discussing how the bad codes are being handled? I haven't found it yet if there is...

There are multiple and they all basically say this: You need to contact your vendor. EBgames lists their cust support phone number on their website (toll free). Multiple players (including myself) have contacted EB and been helped with this problem.

thank you gralen.... hope I can get some help from them... they already lost one of my orders and I quickly reordered... but still... not too happy with them at the moment...

I filled out the online question form but still haven't heard back... I'll call in the morning.
