This is a screen I saw on the CP website from beta. Notice in the upper right there is a bar with an amber, a doggie and the numbers 1 2 3 4. What is this and where can I find it? Was it only available in Beta?

Yes, that was the beta icon bar which has been replaced with the current icon menu (I also preffered the old but it's not critical).

Vertigo and moonbeams are still around playing, thats cool.

I was only on at the tail end of beta, so I don't remember to much aside from fun fun fun. I hate that menu. it's to big, and we can't remove it. I'll put this into the wish list.

If you're using the large button pad, right click it to swithc to icon mode.

and you can turn the opacity waaaaay down.

Rt click, set opacity, uncheck use global, drag drag drag!

WOW the character graphics sure did improve during beta!!! I recently turned up the graphics in game and found that my FPS actually Improved! I was MORE than pleasantly surprised.

If you haven't tried it, get a character in a safeish place and ramp up the graphics as much as you can....this game just isn't the same without HIGH graphics settings.

Since I was the one who took the couple screenshots linked, I feel the need to say that autodegrade had kicked in to extreme heavy levels in the few shots shown. The entire series can be found here, which is a good handful of my screenshots from beta . The raid in question starts around screenshot 8 or 10 and goes into the upper 20's. It's good that autodegrade will go that far, and that's part of the reason I took some of those screenshots. I would much rather have pipe cleaners running around at playable fps, than have to stare at the ground cause i'm getting all of 3 fps during a raid.

I just hide the icon mode behind my map ... that way it is out of sight, out of mind.
