The Kami Master

Ok, I have two very simple questions. In fact they are so simple I don't understand why the GMs won't answer me. They think that saying anything would reveal vital game mechanics but from my experience it makes me think they just dont know.

Ok, question 1:

Does the Kami Master work?

I know that he says if he likes you he will teach you stuff. But I am a Kami champion with 77 Kami fame and he gives me no options. Maybe I am not famous enough?

Question 2:

Why is it in Yrkanis?

Why would the most powerful kami be in yrkanis? This sounds very bizarre to me. He should be in pyr and zora since those are the kami-aligned capital cities.

If anyone knows anything it would be much appreciated...however I have asked around towns and noone knows anything. I''m hoping shadowthorne or a reasonable GM will at least reply and say "Yes it does work, keep trying!"

I currently have 100 Kami fame (76 personal) and they don't give me any additional options either. I also have 100 Icon Worshippers and 100 Zorai and NPCs won't give me any new options. When I asked a GM about this he said that the higher fame related stuff wasn't implemented yet. Plus as it was said, the encylopedia next patch will have quite a bit to do with fame.

The GM's here are very good, too chatty sometimes if ya ask me, but good just the same, especially after being subjeted to CS from Sony, Mythic anf Shadowbane.

While the lack of documentation on questions such as yours leaves a bit to be desired, GM responsiveness is faster than I have ever experianced in a game.

actually the reason some people don't give out missions and what not to people is you need to be above lvl 100 in something and they'll give you misssions

Even after reaching the proper levels many of them don't offer anything.

a GM explained to me that the karavan npc's were banned from kami cities, and vice versa, and the very existance of kami npc's in a karavan city is against the game demographics in general

but other than that, alot of content is yet to be turned on, including mounts

Hopefully patch 2 will open up the usefulness of these characters.
