Ryzom

Hello, My name is (hopefully going to be) Lucia, I am just finding myself in the forests of Atys and I am looking to join a guild suited for one such as myself. I specialize in the workings of magic as well as a bit of close combat. I am also looking to join a guild that is a Role Playing guild. Its my first time in these lands and I hope i will find a home here.

I am sure that I am not the only person here that would like to help you, but you need to give us a little more information, at least your character's race would be a good start, as most guilds have one main race.

If you are a Tryker, the Waverton Brawlers would gladly welcome you.

Forests mean she is probably a Matis. If so... Well, there's some trouble with that right now. Miy set up a Matis RP guild, Birthright, but it's still very small and she seems to be losing interest in Ryzom. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of enthusiasm right now (probably due to the low player-base). Still, it's encouraging to hear someone else is interested in role-play!

There are many guilds with some RP elements, these forums will tell you more - but as far as I know there aren't any guilds with a major focus outside of the lakelands (lucky Tryker...). Some common guild choices for Matis include OmegaV, Vx3, Pegasus, and Melinoe.

The OOC (Out of Cavern) guild is still active in Matis too.
Not much emphasis on RP though.

Thank you all who responded, I am a Matis... at least I think I am... they share similar characteristics with myself... although their haughty demeanor kind of turns me off to them. but yes i could be Matis.(by the way my name IS Lucia now in the Windemere server). Any help with the guild situation is greatly appreciated.

Best help I can suggest is for you to cross your fingers and hope Miy's interest in Ryzom is rekindled. She seemed to be the most vocal rp-driven Matis on these boards, at least. Maybe there are others you will find in-game that don't frequent these boards.

Now, if you want to play Tryker, you've got some options! ht Light of Trykoth is a pro-Kami RP guild. We are wary of Matis and Fyros, and warming up to Zorai. I'm not sure if Waverton Brawlers has an RP focus, but maybe... from what vanderpm said.

well im gong to be continuing this thread in the Role Playing Forum, I will edit in a link to it here once i finish it.

Miy is no more, unfortunately. The character was deleted. But we'll bounce back. Especially with new content coming, I think a Matis RP guild is becoming more and more realistic.
