Bizarre Problem

Ok, as part of the Clan Omnis trip to matis from fyros on Thursday evening, I was in Matis when the server went down and everyone died. Besides this and the other reasons that kept me at it for 5 hours (unfinished) I also had 3 very unexplained crashes (I mean my pc crashed not just the game); I am just doing something completely normal (like dying or w/e) just in Matis with differnt mobs and people and weapons etc around, and then the sound gets "stuck" and I get a blue screen. Now, I don't mean a BSOD as normal with some undecipherable windows error; I mean it just goes blue. Oh, and it had some white garbage on it for the first crash when I get eaten by some boss mob in the forest. A few hours later it was a plain blue screen; no text, no error messages on reboot, no nothing. After reboot I'm back in the game ready to put another few hours in, I go look at someones wavy sword dealy, and another crash, 5 mins after the second one.

So, as this post proves, I gave it a rest for the night. I really do love Ryzom and I hope this isn't going to become something that happens to me often. I can see nothing that should have changed; the only even vaguely strange thing that happened was the server crash :|

My apologies if this is disjointed, misspelled, or just plain odd, but I'm very tired so good night ;)

I have just had 3 similar crashes... This time near someone with a Waving Sword so I think that may be the trouble... any advice?

Please contact our Customer Support, either in-game or via email about this problem. It could be related to certain locations in the game, to problematic hardware or game settings. Our CS may have to exchange some files with you (Your DxDiag logfile, as well as the Ryzom configuration files) in order to identify the problem, which we can't do through this forum. ;)

Thanks, I have already done that and am in the process of trying to get a solution. They haven't asked me for anything specific yet though :-/
