Packer 101

I'd like to get some basic info on packers. Specifically, how much can they carry? Do they follow you around, or can you just leave them in town? Can monsters kill them? Do they wander off? Do you have to feed them?
If anyone could answer these questions, or let me know anything else that's important to know about packers, I'd apprecitate it. Thanks in adavance...

-> They are able to carry as much as fits into 500 bulk units.

-> If you want to, you can have them follow you all the time, I'd recommend to leave them in a stable (go to stable -> right-click packer -> "enter stable")

->Yes! So be careful where you walk around with your packer 
Do they wander off?
->No.

->No.

Can you have more than one packer?
If anyone has any tips or lessons learned from using packers this would be great thread in which to post them.

Yes 3 packers and you can access them anywhere a stables are in other lands how ever to take things out you must be at any stable.
I just keep mine in the stable and dont move em. All 3 of mine are in Zorai. I can use em at any stable anywhere on atys.

I usually leave my packers in the stables at all times. Sadly, unlike in most of beta, packers now have zip for hp and cannot be healed
. Through most of beta, they had a crapload of HP and could be healed like regular players.
